Allow Me to Introduce Myself.

Hello. My name is Marniebella.

I'm a former marketing exec type turned stay at home Momma. I am also a  part-time Etsy/Ebay vendor, thrifting and estate sale dweller, Pinterest addict, crafty bitch, and wifey to an extraordinary husband named, Chris.  I have two boys that have exceptional abilities across the spectrum and a husband that has miles of patience. We are just getting back on our feet from a series of financial and family blows, but determined to make a new start of things and give our children the best childhood we can help create. All this, without pulling my hair or teeth out.

Life has thrown some serious wrenches lately, but we have a lot to be thankful for regardless. For example, we are about to embark on a new chapter of life! We are packing up and moving into a home we can call our own and it's a beautiful 1970's home in Lilburn, GA.

It's got great bones and beautiful windows!  I'm ready to throw on some fresh paint and claim it as Casa de Ferguson!  With our move, I see an opportunity to get a start on some other things that need to be improved upon.  So, while I am sharing photos of our home and the renovations/updates/decorating we do, I'll be sharing other things that pertain to our family life, gaining a healthier lifestyle, things that make me laugh and more!

I'm not sure how consistent I can be on blogging, but want to give it a whirl.  I've had a few friends encourage me to do this as well as my husband, so I've decided to stop thinking about it and just do it!  The community of artists, foodies and general just good people I belong to, lost a shiny star, yesterday. Her name was Larisa and she was someone that I always  laughed with anytime our paths crossed.  I wish I knew her better, but it didn't matter - she had made a real impression on me and I am so very sad that I won't share in giggles and shenanigans with her anymore. She used to do some blogging, among other incredible talents.  I realized that it's never too late to start doing something you are curious about and so, in her passing, I'm putting myself out here to do this. Thanks, Larisa, for giving me some inspiration and gumph to do it!

It might be boring, you might laugh. Heck no one might ever read this - it could just be my journal, but it's my safe space to write and share what is going on in my heart and head. I want to collect and share my thoughts around the new home. Please feel free to read along, glimpse on occasion or completely ignore.  This is about me and it's mostly for me.  But I always welcome company.  :)
